SADC LABOUR LAW GUIDE & THE SADC COVID-19 DASHBOARD LAUNCH

The SADC Private Sector Forum (SPSF) is an association of 16 business member organisations that seeks to promote private sector dialogue, policies which enhance the enabling environment for business, business-to-business networking and sharing best practices across the SADC region. They represent over 10,000 corporate members across the SADC region. Business Botswana is the Secretariat of SPSF.
Since 2017 with the support of the International Labour Organization (ILO), SPSF has been developing a Compendium of the Labour Laws in the SADC Region now presented as the Labour Law Guide to provide access up-to-date Labour Laws in the region.
The virtual launch of the SADC Labour Law Guide & the SADC COVID-19 Dashboard will take place on Friday 12 June at 1400hrs (Pretoria time) and officiated by the Minister of Employment, Labour Productivity and Skills Development, Honourable Mpho Balopi.
This event will bring together 300 delegates - from the 16 countries across SADC representing the private sector, government, labour and media.
The Labour Law Guide is a first-of-its-kind African knowledge platform. It allows users to search for any labour laws by country or legal area, compare laws across and in any two SADC countries. The Guide also features a specific COVID-19 Dashboard featuring regulatory highlights.
