IOE Report-113th International Labour Conference and 354th ILO Governing Body (June 2025).

The 113^th session of the International Labour Conference (ILC) was held from 2^nd - 13^th June 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland. The conference took place against a backdrop of significant global economic uncertainty, ongoing geopolitical tensions, and rising challenges to multilateralism. Over 5,400 delegates attended the session, including strong representation from the Employers' Group. 

 

This session marked an important milestone, with highly sensitive discussions, complex negotiations, and notable institutional developments. The agenda included the second standard-setting discussion on the protection against biological hazards, the first standard-setting discussion on decent work in the platform economy, a general discussion on informality, and deliberations of the committee on the Application of Standards.
