Business Botswana in partnership with HRDC  hosted an insightful workshop on the Labour Market Information System (LMIS) and its benefits.

Delivering the welcome remarks, the Head of Business Development Services, Mr. Kagiso Koyabe said that LMIS is globally recognized for its role in job matching providing crucial labor market insights, and empowering employers with data on emerging sectors, aiding policy formulation. Citing that the private sector contributes significantly to shaping the labor market ecosystem by offering employment opportunities.

The interactive workshop allowed attendees to experience the LMIS firsthand, fostering discussions to ensure it meets their requirements. Participants enthusiastically engaged in conversations about LMIS functionalities, suggesting additional training sessions with HRDC.
