The incoming Business Botswana CEO, Ms Tumi Mbaakanyi delivered a powerful and heartfelt vote of thanks at Annual Gala Dinner. She affirmed her commitment to the organisation and the private sector saying

“This role is both an honour and a responsibility I take seriously. I stand ready to serve, listen, and to work closely with all stakeholders as we accelerate the work ahead. My commitment is to ensure that Business Botswana remains a strong, credible, and proactive voice for the private sector. I’m ready to serve you, together with the super team at Business Botswana. She extended her appreciation to BB members, acknowledging their confidence, resilience, and continued investment in Botswana’s economic growth and transformation story. She reiterated that everything Business Botswana does is centred on members’ needs, challenges, and ambitions.

Ms Mbaakanyi emphasised that she brings with her a clear understanding of members’ aspirations, Business Botswana’s strategic priorities, and the immense potential within the private sector.
