Strengthening Collaboration on Skills Development Towards Industry Relevant Graduates

This morning, Business Botswana participated in the second 2026 Higher Education Sector Level Consultative Council (SLCC) meeting, co-chaired by Hon Prince Maele, Minister of Ministry of Higher Education and Mr Golekanye Setume, Business Botswana Education Sector Chair. Discussions centred around strengthening partnerships to improve education quality and alignment of skills development with industry needs as well as progress review on key initiatives like the National Education Blueprint. The Hon Minister’s fulfilled commitment on touring local education institutions, as promised in the last meeting, was applauded and touted as the way forward of actioning resolutions.
